Poster abstract

Submit your poster by February 7^th , 2025!

All authors submitting a poster abstract will present their work during the Poster Sessions.

IMPORTANT!

Please, remember to submit your poster abstract upon registration, using the "Abstract form" (also if you already registered to the event). Abstracts submitted to the "Call for oral presentations" are not automatically accepted: please, make sure to re-submit your abstract as indicated above.

Of note, one poster abstract for each Fondazione Telethon project can be submitted and hence presented (also in the case of multicenter projects) . To this end, the reference number of the Fondazione Telethon project is required. The presenting authors need to register to the congress if they are not the person submitting the abstract.

Three sessions are schedule; poster session 1 will be attended by Patient Associations representatives too. No poster shifts are planned (although this might vary, depending on the number of poster abstracts we will receive eventually). Poster abstracts will be collected and published on the Convention website and books, which are publicly available. Different stakeholders will be attending the event (scientists, PAOs representatives, companies, VCs, etc) – Please, be aware of not disclosing sensitive information in your abstracts.

Guidelines

Once you have registered for the event, you can then submit your poster abstract via your online account. Log in and click on “Submit a poster abstract”.

Make sure your abstract is submitted on due time and in the right format:

• Abstract should be no more than 2000 characters (spaces are included) in length; you have to provide title, abstract and disease both in English and in Italian (in plain language, for lay attendees).
• Submit your abstract as a continuous text (do not split it up into subheadings such as "introduction, methods, results").
• Title must be concise – use capital letters for the beginning of a sentence/title or for an acronym/name. Please, do not use CAPITAL LETTERS for your entire title or text.
• All authors' names should be listed as initials and surname; only the first letter of the surname should be capitalized.
• A presenting author must be identified.
• Do not include acknowledgements or references in your abstracts.
• You must read and agree to the Abstract Submission Terms & Conditions (in the abstract submission form).
